Jenkins Barbecue announces closure of all 3 locations

After 68 years of serving the Jacksonville community, Jenkins Quality Barbecue announced Tuesday that it will close all three of its locations by the end of the month. According to a Facebook post by the Jenkins family, who own the beloved local restaurant, the closure is due to “rising costs of food and labor, shifting consumer trends and chain issues."
