May is American Stroke Month, and as the First Coast Go Red for Women Health Summit and Luncheon approaches this week, one local survivor is opening up about the life-changing moment that turned her family's world upside down. In 2021, Michelle Woods suffered a stroke at home. Her husband Paul quickly recognized something was wrong, got her emergency care and helped begin what continues to be a long recovery journey. Today, they're sharing their story together to help other families recognize the signs of stroke and understand how quickly action can save a life.
