State auditors arrive in Jacksonville after back-and-forth between state CFO, Mayor Deegan

The Florida Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is set to arrive Thursday in Jacksonville to audit the city, investigating what the agency calls “excessive government spending.” The auditors are expected to be in the city for two days.
