St. Johns County detective shares warning signs to help older adults avoid falling victim to scams

Last year, older adults lost nearly $5 billion to some type of fraud. The average victim of elder fraud loses at least $33,000.  Bobby Fultz, a detective with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, investigates scams and sees far too many senior citizens victimized by them.
