All week, we're introducing you to the five finalists for the VyStar Duval County Teacher of the Year Award. Valerie Pitts-Wilson, a fifth-grade ELA, writing, and social studies teacher at Rutledge Pearson Elementary, was surprised by the news that she's a finalist.
