APGA to host its Cisco Black History Month Classic at TPC Sawgrass this week
While Northeast Florida is known as the global home of the PGA TOUR, this week another organization is taking center stage with a focus on access, opportunity, and representation in golf. The Advocates Professional Golf Association is hosting its Cisco Black History Month Classic at TPC Sawgrass — bringing together talented players from across the country while celebrating a mission to inspire a more inclusive future through the game. Founded in 2010, the APGA creates competitive opportunities, mentoring, and visibility for golfers from diverse backgrounds — all while building meaningful partnerships within the golf industry. CEO Solomon Hughes joined The Morning Show on Friday to talk about the upcoming event.
