Woman’s experience with endometriosis led to foundation so others will know ‘they are not alone’

One in 10 women are diagnosed with endometriosis, a chronic and usually debilitating condition that can be easily misdiagnosed. Tam Carter, who was originally diagnosed with the disease in 1999, started the “Shed a LIGHT on" foundation so other women will know "they are not alone."
