As fate would have it, Penny found a temporary haven with a local family who passionately advocates for rescue animals and foster care. The foster family, inspired by a News4Jax segment about dogs like Penny, reached out to the River City Live team. Today, Penny’s story comes full circle, thanks to Aki and her daughter Olivia, who joined the show live in the studio to share their experience.
