RC Plus: Powerful Women in Jax Food Space In Honor of International Women's History Month

We took some time to host a deeper conversation with Chef Chriss Brown and Tina York who are the engines behind The Empowered Kitchen which is a local nonprofit that guides women for their independence through careers in the food industry. They also offer job skills training for incarcerated women.  www.theempoweredkitchen.org  Another woman making her mark on the Jacksonville Food and Lifestyle space, Chef Blakely Stein launched Jungle Soul Mama when she and her family returned from Costa Rica. Her work strengthens our community from the inside out with cooking classes, dance and movement classes, and more.
