Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones discussed with News4JAX sports anchor Jamal St. Cyr the process of learning a new defensive scheme and how helpful it’s been to study alongside veteran teammate Jourdan Lewis. He credited his offseason studying and the discipline instilled by defensive backs coach Ron Milus as key factors in his development. Now entering his second year in the league, Jones said he’s grown significantly both mentally and physically since his rookie season. He praised defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, calling him “a great fit” for the team and its defensive identity. Jones has also been closely evaluating the Jaguars’ wide receiver group in practice, which he says is elite. He expressed excitement for the upcoming preseason games and joint practices.
