Over 200 teams competed in the Bob Hayes Invitational Track & Field meet

Big-time talent was on display at the Bob Hayes Invitational! Over 200 high school track & field teams competed in one of the state’s premier meets. Beachside’s Kaitlyn Brown won the girls 100m hurdles title (13.94). Raines’ Iason Williams finished as the top local in the boys 110m hurdles (4th, 14.32). Raines' Owen Kaye won the boys 100m dash (10.43). Raines boys placed third overall. The meet honors track legend Bob Hayes, who is the only athlete ever to win Olympic gold and a Super Bowl.
