Jaguars LS Ross Matiscik signs contract extension

Jaguars long snapper Ross Matiscik has signed a two-year contract extension. He now is the highest paid long snapper in the NFL. Matiscik has been with the Jaguars for six seasons. His 22 special teams tackles are tied for the most in the league at his position. He has earned All Pro and Pro Bowl honors in each of the last three seasons.
