There are plenty of questions on people’s minds heading into Tuesday night’s presidential debate.

But before the candidates square off, we wanted to answer one question: can President Donald Trump or former Vice President Joe Biden say anything to change your mind about them?

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the answer was a resounding “No.” Of the more than 80 responses we received, the vast majority said their minds are already made up, and nothing said Tuesday will change that.

Granted, this was an informal survey of News4JAX Insiders and our Vote 2020 newsletter subscribers. But based on those responses we got back, it’s clear that people feel very strongly about the candidates in this race.

The lone exception was an Insider who prefers to keep her identity anonymous. She had this to say:

“Probably not, but I am open to what each says and whether their issues line up with my issues.”

There’s still time to share your thoughts before the debate. So, tell us, can either of these candidates change your mind? Why or why not?
