Family: Married with children and grand children
Education: Graduate of law enforcement and corrections academy. Graduate of Vincennes University.
Political experience: Elected to the St John’s County School board in 2020.
What do you see as the top three issues in this race, and how do you plan to address them?
Teacher retention, salaries and Safety.
Add additional Job fairs to broaden the applicant field to recruit top professionals. Make use of new legislation to improve standards and create apprenticeships.
Advocate from all levels of government to increase salaries and benefits to decompress the system currently under. Incentive for special certifications.
And increase Assoiate salaries. And increase for support staff also.
As we move further into cyber security we must be trained on evolving technologies and capabilities to handle. Seek state and federal assistance to share in cost.
How can you help voters in a way that others running for this office cannot?
I have been a public servant all my adult life. And continue to Protect and Served the communities of St Johns County. It’s ministry and serving is what am called to do.
What would you hope to be remembered for accomplishing after serving in this office?
Advocating and supporting CTE programs (career Technical Education) teacher recruitment and retention and keeping our schools safe while continuing to making our partnerships with Law Enforcement and other local government as well as private sectors stronger for the communities that make up St Johns county stronger. Helping our District academics maintain and grow stronger keeping the 1 statues in academic excellence.
Empowering our teachers and future teachers that our district is where they to can strive and raise families. Excellence in Academics and Athletics. Building culture and community involvement with Student, teachers and support staff.
