The Clay County Strawberry Festival is this weekend at the Clay County Agricultural Fairgrounds in Green Cove Springs, Florida. According to the event's website, There will be farm fresh strawberries, pony rides, a petting farm, train rides, bounce houses, a hula hoop contest, sack races, a mechanical bull, and the popular Berry Cute Baby Contest. 

The weather looks beautiful and cool for the Clay County Strawberry Festival. On early Saturday morning, the temperatures will start in the chilly mid 40s. Under sunny skies the temperatures will climb into the low 60s by lunchtime. Expect breezy Northeasterly winds between 10 and 15 mph, sustained. The humidity will be lower than we are used to and the skies will be beautiful and sunny. Afternoon temperatures will top out at 68°. Make sure you bring a light jacket with you if you are staying later, the temperatures drop quickly Saturday evening, through the 60s and 50s.

Sunday will be lovely to enjoy the Strawberry Festival also. Temperatures start in the upper 40s and low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Expect slight clearing as we warm up, making for mostly sunny skies and afternoon temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. Winds will be out of the East between 10 and 15 mph. There are no chances for showers over the weekend, but it would be very easy to get sunburnt, so watch your shoulders.
