Limited evening storms inland Heat outpaces the few storms this week
.
This evening storms will focus over inferior areas of Western Duval to Clay and Putnam counties. Storms will cover Gainesville through sunset while areas close to the coast and town stay dry.
Tomorrow will be another relatively dry day. Isolated 20% afternoon storms will develop inland and track to the north and northwest away from Jacksonville.
Wednesday morning will be in the lower to mid 70s, except upper 70s at the coast. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s inland with heat index values of 101-106.
The heat kicks in by the end of the week and this weekend reaching the mid to upper 90s. The lack of moisture in the atmosphere will lead to far fewer storms for a typical summer afternoon.
