Back-to-back games in the 30s for Jags

By the end of last weekends game against the Chargers in Jacksonville, temperatures chilled down to what the starting temperatures will be in Kansas City Saturday.

Kansas City Chiefs will have the advantage this Saturday when it comes to the weather at Arrowhead Stadium against the Jaguars.

The Divisional round of the AFC playoffs will get underway on Saturday, January 21. The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET, with the winner heading to the AFC Championship game.

The Jags will play the AFC Divisional outdoors in a true winter experience. The Weather Authority is forecasting a 60% chance of light rain and sleet during the 4:30 PM kickoff changing over to snow during the game.

A little over an inch of snow is forecast to dust Kansas City Saturday evening as a systems moves up into Kansas overnight.

The temperatures will be around 38 at the start before cooling down to the mid 30s or possibly reaching freezing by the end of the game.

Last Saturday’s home game should help prep the southern team for this cold weekend. The Jaguars’ 31-30 win against the Chargers was 45° at the start before falling into the 30s at the dramatic final.
