Winter on pause until the weekend

We felt the warm up Monday and the 80s-degree days will continue until some rain moves in Friday. The above normal temps will pull back into the 60s by the weekend.

Until then expect some fairly dry days as rain gets diverted from the northern Gulf states up into central and northern Georgia.

This leaves us with a south and southeast flow sending up mild humid air. The fog will be thick late at night and mornings ahead with this pattern.
