Warmer days ahead

Thursday is nearly perfect

.

Our blue skies are making for a perfect day. Temps are mildly warmer this afternoon with in the mid 70s. East winds are holding down the temps at the coast to the low 70s while areas west of Duval and Clay top out near 80. Coastal breezes may gust to 20 today.

It is great weather for the opening of the Clay County Fair. This evening will be clear with temps in the upper 60s.

Overnight won’t be as cold in the upper 50s inland to near 60 along the coast with clear skies.

Tomorrow turns warmer in the 80s with breezy and mostly sunny skies.

Look for a hotter Saturday and isolated showers. Some storms are possible during the afternoon and evening in southern Georgia as a cold front moves in. Any evening showers in JAX clear with cooler air Sunday.
