A little cooler and drier for the last days of May

We got a taste of summer with highs in the mid to upper 90s. The heat and humidity kicked in last week and brought Feels Like temperatures to the triple digits. Finally, we started to feel a little difference today with more to come tonight and tomorrow.

Relative Humidity during the heat of the day was in the low 30 percent range. We still had 90s, but they did not feel as hot.

The drier air moves in overnight tonight which will help our morning lows and afternoon highs feel closer to what the thermometer is telling you. Additionally, slightly cooler temperatures will return to the area.

Upper 80s to low 90s with the drier airmass is expected Thursday and Friday. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s to low 90s will continue this weekend. A slight chance of showers returns late Sunday.
