A rare winter storm is set to impact North Florida and southern Georgia on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, bringing the risk of ice and even some snow to the region.
While Georgia and the Florida Panhandle will see snow that sticks to the ground, snowflakes in Jacksonville are not likely. Freezing rain is expected to begin in Southeast Georgia Tuesday afternoon before shifting south into Northeast Florida after midnight and lingering into the mid-morning Wednesday.
While we keep an eye on the winter storm, News4JAX wants to share helpful live cameras around the southern states that feature snow.
From a snowy Bourbon Street in New Orleans to making a snowman on the beaches in Houston, check out the falling snow in our southern states.

Florida We are keeping our eyes on the panhandle as the winter storm approaches. There will be a good sticking of 1 to possibly 2 inches of rain from Tallahassee back toward Pensacola where the snow is currently falling.
Georgia *As of noon on Tuesday, snow was not visible in the live cams below. We are keeping an eye on these cameras and will update the list when snow is visible.
