Rain or shine, there’s a 100% chance of love in the air today

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – If the rain didn’t wash away the pollen overnight, the next big opportunity will be Sunday.

So far, temperatures have been up to 20 degrees cooler than yesterday morning and today will be the first day that we haven’t reached at least 70 degrees. Gainesville had a record high on Thursday of 89! Today, highs in Jax will be hard-pressed to reach the mid-60s - more than a 20-degree difference from Thursday (high 86).

Winds, with gusts into the mid-20 mph range, will prevail throughout the day. Scattered showers along the beaches later in the day are likely with the onshore winds. Rain potential continues Saturday afternoon. Heavy, widespread rain on Sunday with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms throughout the day.
