JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – We’re starting the day in the upper 60s to mid-70s across SE GA and NE FL.

But crank up that A/C, because temperatures are potentially going to hit 90 degrees by Thursday afternoon.

A few stray afternoon showers within this high heat of the day could be possible for very few of you. Otherwise, it’s dangerously hot if you don’t stay properly hydrated. Not just you, but your pets too!

A system moves in on Monday, bringing rain and cooler air. We go from the 90s today to the 70s into next week.
