JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As we head into midweek, get ready for a mix of intense heat and possible storms. The Weather Authority is closely monitoring conditions, and there’s a chance for some severe weather ahead.

Severe weather alerts and storm predictions

Heatwave conditions and temperature forecasts

It’s another scorcher today, with temperatures inching toward 95 degrees, just shy of the record of 99. Expect the nineties to continue through the week. Overnight, temperatures might cool down slightly to the upper sixties and seventies, providing a bit of relief from the daytime heat.

Tide and beach forecast insights

Low tide at Jacksonville Beach is early in the morning, giving plenty of room for exercise or relaxation. Air temperatures hover around 89 degrees, with the water at a warm 82 degrees, making it ideal for a dip.
