A quiet night ahead as showers fade. Patchy fog will develop and linger through early Wednesday.
The Gulf breeze and afternoon storms persist through the rest of the week. Some areas will experience more rain than others, especially between Highway 301/US 1 and I-95. Rain chances will start around noon near I-75 and Highway 301, then after 1-2 p.m. closer to the river. Main hazards include heavy rain and strong winds.
Evening: Showers and thunderstorms will continue through sunset, then weaken late tonight.
Wednesday: Early partly cloudy skies will give way to mostly cloudy conditions with scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1-2 p.m. Rain chances are 40-60 percent. Morning lows will be in the 70s, with inland afternoon highs reaching the 90s and coastal areas in the upper 80s to low 90s.
Rest of the week: The risk of showers and thunderstorms associated with the Gulf sea breeze remains. Skies will become cloudy with showers and storms developing around noon near I-75, and around 1-2 p.m. near Highway 301/US 1, with a 50-70 percent chance.
