JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Saturday will be another hot day with heat indices reaching the 108-112 degree range by mid-afternoon. Expect highs in the mid-90s.
Afternoon storms will roll in along the sea breezes, fueled by the heat, enhancing the chance of localized flooding in spots. The mugginess will continue into the evening hours and overnight.
More opportunities for heavy rainfall on Sunday before drying out a bit into next week.
