Rainy Friday before fall temperatures return for the weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Friday will likely be the last day of summerlike temperatures in the low 90s across Northeast Florida, feeling like 100 by mid-afternoon.

Increasing clouds and stormy weather this afternoon, with heavy downpours at times throughout the afternoon commute into the evening.

If you have Friday night football plans, pack a poncho, especially inland along the river out to the beaches.

Showers will continue through the night across southeast Georgia as a frontal boundary stalls across the area.

Thunderstorms are possible after 2 p.m. Saturday.
