Warming trend continues with rain chances increasing in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida

Sunday forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Expect a mild Sunday as temperatures warm into the mid-to-upper 70s in Northeast Florida, lower-to-mid 70s in Southeast Georgia, as we finish the month of November. Skies will be partly cloudy, with light east winds. There’s a very slight chance of an isolated shower, but otherwise dry conditions prevail. There are no posted hazards along our coastline today.

November is likely going down in the record books as the driest on record at Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Craig Executive airports.

The next chance of rainfall is on Monday into Tuesday this week as we begin the final month of 2025.

Tuesday rain forecast

We need the rain! Since September 1, Jacksonville is deficit 6-9″, Gainesville is 3-4″. Be weather aware on Tuesday as thunderstorms are also in the forecast along with 0.5-1 inches of rainfall.
