JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunday will be partly cloudy with temperatures slightly above normal as the Arctic blast frontal boundary begins to impact Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida.
Winds from the northwest turning northeast 10-15 mph will increase throughout the afternoon and evening with gusts up to 25 mph.
Once the sun sets, temperatures will plummet and, mixed with the blustery winds, the wind chill factor will start to drop rapidly into the 20-degree range.
Be sure to prepare your pets, plants, people, and pipes for extended hours of temperatures below 32 degrees.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued the following:
Freeze Warning for Southeast Georgia and parts of inland Northeast Florida beginning at 1 a.m. Monday morning through 10 a.m. Temperatures could be as low as 23 degrees.
Cold Weather Advisory late tonight and Monday morning. Wind chills 12-25°F for Southeast Georgia, Suwannee Valley, and parts of inland Northeast Florida.
Wind advisory for coastal Northeast Florida from early this evening through early Monday morning.
Freeze Watch has been issued for Monday night at 7 through Tuesday at 9 a.m. Temperatures as could be as low as 24 degrees.
Gale warning for local Atlantic coastal waters from late this afternoon through early Monday morning. High surf advisory for coastal St. Johns and Flagler counties from late tonight through early Monday evening.
