We will see a few showers on Thursday before we see the sun again on Friday. Chilly temperatures will start the weekend with sunny skies and warmer afternoon highs to follow.
Patchy to areas of dense fog tonight and early Thursday morning. Scattered showers will develop around noon and continue to spread across the region through late Thursday, early Friday morning. Patchy frost and light freeze conditions will be possible late Friday and early Saturday, along inland areas of I-10 and inland southeast Georgia.

Thursday: A foggy start then turning cloudy with increasing rain chances. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible. Rain totals are expected to be less than an inch. Morning lows in the 50s to low 60s. Afternoon highs in the 60s and 70s. Wind: S 10-15 mph. Rain chance will average 40 - 60 percent.
Friday - Weekend: Breezy and cool Friday then sunny with lighter wind Saturday and Sunday as highs hover in the low to mid 70s.
Christmas Day: Looking ahead, warmer temperatures continue Christmas Day with lows in the 40s, 50s and afternoon highs in the 60s to mid 70s.
