High pressure to maintain sunshine and warmth

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – High pressure will remain overhead for the rest of the day, which means we will see sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the 70s.

Make sure to grab a jacket if you have plans this evening. Temperatures will drop into the 50s this evening and overnight we will be in the 40s and 50s.

Monday will be breezy.

Monday will be partly cloudy and breezy thanks to a nearby disturbance. Winds could gust up to 30 mph at times. Highs for the day will be in the mid to upper 60s. Rain is not expected as high pressure will keep us dry.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the week, high pressure will remain overhead. Little if any rain is in sight through next weekend. Temperatures will remain above normal with highs in the 70s.
