JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The rest of the day will feature a partly to mostly cloudy sky with warm temperatures. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the 70s. Temperatures will drop into the 50s tonight under a partly cloudy sky.
Patchy dense fog will be possible after midnight through Friday morning. Make sure to plan extra travel time.
Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Patchy dense fog will be possible each morning through early next week.
Monday will be warm once again with highs near 80 degrees. It will turn breezy ahead of our next system, which is a cold front.
The front will cross our area late Monday, but no rainfall is expected with it. Tuesday will remain breezy with the system nearby. We certainly could use the rain as we are in a drought.
Much colder weather is on the way as we head into the new year! Highs will drop into the 50s for New Year’s Eve and Day and morning temperatures will drop into the 30s.
We certainly could use the rain, but little if any is in the forecast through the end of the year. Many spots will end the year with over a 10” rainfall deficit and looking ahead into the new year it looks dry
