After record-breaking highs in Jacksonville on Saturday, a cold front will bring us back into winter

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The forecasted cold front will continue to move through the area, bringing showers for some before colder, drier air sinks in. Throughout the afternoon, temperatures will continue to drop. Overnight lows will fall into the 30s. A Freeze Warning is in place for our Southeast Georgia counties: Charlton, Brantley, Ware, and Clinch beginning at 3 a.m. Monday through 9 a.m.

Be sure to protect your pets, people, and plants before heading to bed Sunday evening. Another round of cold weather will hit us later in the week.

Meanwhile, Sunday will be sunny following the morning cloudiness as temperatures move into the mid-60s. The high will likely be in the early afternoon, around kickoff, before dropping into the low 60s and upper 50s after sunset.
