JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After reaching 78 degrees in Jacksonville on Friday, Saturday’s highs will stay in the “normal” range. As a mild front sticks around throughout the day, Sunday could bring record-tying/breaking highs.
A foggy start for some will burn off by 9 a.m., leaving behind mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures, with highs reaching the low-to-mid 60s in Northeast Florida, upper 50s in Southeast Georgia.
Alachua, Putnam, and Marion counties could warm into the low 70s.
Warmer Sunday as the warm front lifts along with the low-pressure system, bringing the major winter storm events to the areas north and west of Florida.
The trailing cold front passes west to east late Sunday into Monday morning, causing our temperatures to take a cold plunge back into freezing conditions.
