A Freeze Warning for inland areas will be in effect from 1 a.m. - 8 a.m. Wednesday. A Frost Advisory along the periphery of the Freeze warning will be in effect from 1 a.m. - 8 a.m.

The warming trend will kick off as the freezing temperatures warm and the frost melts. Above average temperatures with mainly dry conditions are expected through Thursday. There will be a slight chance of showers on Thursday afternoon for inland SE GA.

Rain chances will increase area-wide on Friday and Saturday. Models are holding steady with rainfall totals of around half inch to an inch of rain for Georgia then decreasing as the front sags south.

The unsettled weather will begin clearing Sunday afternoon as the wind turns onshore.

Wednesday: Freeze Warning 1 a.m. - 8 a.m. Frost Advisory 1 a.m. - 8 a.m. Mostly clear early then becoming partly cloudy. Morning lows in the 30s and 40s. Afternoon highs in the 60s and 70s. Wind SW 10-15 mph. Mostly clear overnight with patchy fog.

Thursday: Patchy fog then becoming partly cloudy. Morning lows in the 40s and 50s. Afternoon highs in the 70s to low 80s inland, 60s to low 70s along the beaches. Partly cloudy overnight with patchy fog.
