Saturday planner

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the first full day of spring, you can expect above-normal highs, abundant blue skies, and over 12 hours of sunlight after a beautiful sunrise.

Saturday will see temperatures in the 80s, possibly close to record-breaking at Craig Airfield (87/2020). Expect temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s in inland northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. Temperatures closer to the beach will stay in the mid-to-upper 70s with the east coast sea breeze staying along the coast, pinned by a westerly breeze 10-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph.

It’s a great day to get the pollen washed off your car!

Sunday will be even warmer as temperatures move into the upper 80s, close to a record at Jacksonville International Airport of 90/1935.

The next chance for much-needed rain comes on Tuesday into Wednesday.
