JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Friday, more rain inland in southeast Georgia, and building throughout Friday afternoon. Chances of pop-up showers in northeast Florida in the afternoon, but nothing unlike a typical summer pattern of sea breezes converging and temperatures heating up.
More 90s in the region throughout the early afternoon and into the weekend, through the Memorial Day weekend. Feels like temperatures will be close to 100 degrees!
Moderate to high rip current risk at the beaches, likely increasing to high over the weekend with an onshore breeze.
