The Gulf sea breeze will head offshore, pushing gusty thunderstorms along the way.
A line of thunderstorms is sweeping across northeast Florida and will move over the Atlantic by 4 - 5 p.m. Light rain with embedded thunderstorms will be possible across northeast Florida and southeast Georgia through around 7 - 8 p.m.
A similar summertime pattern will continue through Wednesday as the southwest wind and a lingering frontal boundary bring rounds of rain and thunderstorms, some locally heavy.
Rain chances will return to our normal summer levels of 20 - 30 percent Thursday and Friday as the heat and humidity continue.
