Trader Joe’s issued a voluntary recall for its store-brand frozen breakfast burritos after the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported that at least three customers found clear plastic pieces in their burritos, and one suffered a minor injury.
The recalled burritos were sold in Connecticut, as well as: DC, DE, Il, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, TN, VT, VA and WI stores. They have the following information on the label: Lot code 266, SKU 96132, package code A26616PFFG3, or case code 100-101280. The burritos were distributed from centers in Pennsylvania and Illinois.

Trader Joe's said it has pulled the burritos from sale as a precaution.
Trader Joe’s and the burrito manufacturer are asking customers who have purchased the burritos to throw them away or return them to Trader Joe’s for a refund.
Trader Joe's national director of public relations, Alison Mochizuki, told News4Jax that none of the recalled burritos were sold in Florida or Georgia.
