3 Oh Say Can You Sing finalists named

Viewers to decide who will sing national anthem for 4th of July fireworks

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – WJXT's judges have made their decision, selecting this year's three Oh Say Can You Sing finalists:

Jonathan Brooks: As a semi-finalist last season, this 31-year-old healthcare worker from Jacksonville wowed the judges this year to make the final three.

LeeAnn Parker: This mom took time from singing to her new baby to audition. And boy did she sing, impressing the judges with her performance.

Will Harden: At just 13 years old, Will performed beyond his years to win the judges' hearts and put himself into the finals.

This year, the station decided to have a little fun in delivering the news to the finalists. Station employees dressed up like a Papa John’s pizza delivery guy to surprise the finalists with the good news.

Pizza guy: “Hey Jonathan, did you order a pizza?”
Jonathan:  “Um, no.”
Pizza guy: “Are you sure you didn’t order this?”
Jonathan: “Oh alright. Awesome."

When the station showed up to let LeeAnn know, the surprise was on the crew, as LeeAnn was not home.

Then came the final and youngest contestant.

Pizza guy: “Are you sure you didn’t order this? Congratulations.”
Will: “Thank you.”

While excited by the news, Will was a little disappointed there wasn’t a pizza in the box.

The three contestants will perform July 4 on Channel 4's Star Spangled Spectacular prime-time special. Each will perform a song of their choice and our audience will vote on uSay to pick the favorite. The winner will perform the national anthem just before the city of Jacksonville's fireworks display.
