Margaritaville at Sea initially launched its “Heroes Sail Free” program in 2022 and invited U.S. military members (active duty and veterans), first responders, and educators on one free cruise to the Bahamas.

“To show our sincere gratitude for their ongoing service, we wanted to offer these frontline heroes a chance to kick off their boots and work shoes and flip-flop into a relaxing getaway,” said Kevin Sheehan Jr., President and CEO of Margaritaville at Sea.

According to the company’s website, eligible parties can book unlimited sailings each year through the program as long as they are accompanied by at least one paying guest in the same stateroom.

In addition to the amenities offered previously, the ‘Islander’ offers new dining experiences and includes a three-story poolside bar, a 12-story atrium, an adults-only poolside lounge, and a splash pad with a water slide for younger cruisers.
