Operation Cast and Fir-ious: Adorable squirrel photo melts hearts after wildlife rescue This little baby is on the mend!

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida posted an adorable photo of a baby squirrel in a cast after an accident on Wednesday.
The “awwww”-worthy photo has been liked all over social media over the sheer cuteness of seeing a tiny wildlife animal in a makeshift cast.
The organization said the squirrel had a fractured femur. They didn’t go into exactly what happened, but veterinarians helped stabilize its leg while it healed.
“Thankfully Mandarin Veterinary Clinic got her all set for a full recovery,” the organization said.
