FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 32-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and died early Wednesday morning on U.S. 1 south of Belle Terre Boulevard in Flagler County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the man from Flagler Beach was headed south on U.S. 1 in the inside lane shortly before 1 a.m. when he hit a piece of debris in the road and lost control.

FHP said the motorcycle wobbled, and the rider, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown off onto the highway. He died from his injuries.
Troopers said the motorcycle kept going off the west grass shoulder until it hit the wood line along the highway.
