JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Cancer is a thief. It steals health, joy and loved ones. And it steals friends, old and new.
It acts as a time bandit.
As I continue to chronicle my cancer journey, I want to share the story of a man I met in chemotherapy. The sad thing is that cancer robbed me of a chance to get to know him better.
That said, I believe that cancer might take a life, but it can’t keep that person from living on in your heart.
