JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Baptist Health has announced a multi-year agreement restoring in-network access for Cigna members to Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital services. The change is effective immediately.
Baptist Health says the agreement means Cigna members can once again receive care from their preferred providers using their in-network benefits, ending a period in which Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital were considered out-of-network for Cigna policyholders.

“Our commitment has always been to ensure patients have access to the high-quality care they need, and we are grateful to move forward with a resolution that restores access to care across our health system,” Baptist Health said in a statement.
What Cigna members should do now
Patients with upcoming appointments, procedures or treatments scheduled at Baptist Health or Wolfson Children’s Hospital are encouraged to keep those appointments as scheduled unless contacted directly by their provider’s office. No additional action is required.
For those who postponed or canceled care during the out-of-network period, Baptist Health is encouraging patients to reach out to their provider’s office to reschedule any appointments, procedures, screenings or follow-up visits that may have been delayed.
