Local doctor explains new minimally invasive treatment for prostate cancer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the U.S. after skin cancer, but it is often slow-growing and highly treatable.

Now there is a minimally invasive treatment, called Focal Therapy, that precisely targets and destroys tumors.

The first to employ the technique in our area is Dr. Ali Kasraeian from Kasraeian Urology.

He joined us on The Morning Show to discuss the less-invasive therapy, which has fewer side effects.
