16-year-old girl walking on Westside street shot in drive-by Black Impala pulled up, 2 shots fired, police say No description found
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 16-year-old girl was shot in the hand Saturday while walking down North Sonora Drive, off 103rd Street near Interstate 295, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
The girl was walking at about 1:30 p.m. when a black Chevrolet Impala pulled up and someone in it fired two shots at her, police said.
One shot went into a home, police said. No one was injured.
The girl was taken to Orange Park Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
