JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man wanted for the fatal drive-by shooting of a child and man was arrested in Jacksonville Monday, bringing a nationwide manhunt to an end.
Luxon Coriolan was on the U.S. Marshal's 15 Most Wanted Fugitives list for allegedly shooting 4-year-old Naviaon Hyppolite and 21-year-old Flynn Myers -- a bystander who was trying to shield the child. A friend of Myers also was wounded.

The shootings occurred in East Orange, N.J., on Aug. 20, 2003.
Authorities received a tip that Coriolan was in downtown Jacksonville Monday afternoon, and he was arrested shortly thereafter. Authorities said he was arrested without incident, but that he initially lied about his identity.
After questioning Coriolan at the federal courthouse, police said they were sure they had the right man.
According to witnesses, an individual identified as Coriolan fired a shotgun at a group of people in front of an apartment building, striking Hyppolite and Myers. East Orange police said the shooting resulted from an earlier argument.
Arrest warrants for Coriolan -- a Haitian native and criminal gang member -- include murder, wounding a bystander, two prior charges for criminal sexual contact with a minor, and kidnapping. Officials said he has a substantial criminal record that includes a felony conviction, probation violations, and earlier charges relating to weapons, drugs, and aggravated assault.
