Suspect Arrested In Fatal Beating Over CD Player
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police recently arrested a homeless man suspected of killing another man after becoming enraged over a broken CD player.
Investigators said they've arrested 29-year-old Joshua Hilliard and charged him with murder.
Police said Hilliard beat to death 40-year-old Glenn Wilson on Tuesday night because Wilson stepped on his CD player and broke it.
According to investigators, Hilliard struck Wilson with a beer bottle.
A relative of Wilson found the 40-year-old's body in a ditch near 103rd Street and Jammes Road on the Westside, police said.
