Walgreens Pharmacy Armed Robber Sought

Investigators: Man Demanded OxyContin, Left With Pills

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County investigators said they're searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy for the second time in five months.

Investigators said the man walked into the Walgreens on North Ponce De Leon Boulevard Thursday night, jumped over the counter, pointed a gun at the pharmacist and demanded OxyContin.

Deputies said the man took off with several bottles of the pills. They believe he robbed the same store in November.

The man is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds with short, brown hair.
